JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Sharks welcome the Carolina Cobras to the Shark Tank on Saturday, July 23rd. One of the biggest games of the season for both teams as this will determine playoff seeding. Let’s pack the Shark Tank and get the same home field advantage we saw last time the Cobras came to town!  Here's everything you need to know for Saturday’s Military Appreciation Night Presented by Navy Federal Credit Union.


BOGO TICKETS!

The Sharks are offering a buy one get one free ticket deal to all military members & families (active duty & retired). The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a FREE custom-made Sharks Military Night Rally Towel!


The Sharks have reserved the last regular-season game to honor all of those who have served in our armed forces. Root for the Sharks as they prepare for the postseason! Before kickoff, members of Combat Vets & the Attack Dance Team have partnered up for an impressive motorcycle introduction and National Anthem Performance.  The Sharks also look forward to honoring many great veterans & active duty service members on the field for our USAA Home Town Hero ceremonies throughout the game.


TRAFFIC ADVISORY!!

The gloriest City of Jacksonville and event planning will create some conflicts coming to the sports complex area. There is a 5K run on Saturday, 7/23.  Below are the details of bridge closures. Event is from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM with road closures starting at 5:30 PM. Both lanes of the Main Street Bridge will close to traffic from 7:00 PM – 7:45 PM. The southbound lanes of the Acosta Bridge will close from 7:10 PM – 8:15 PM. We asked that if you are coming to the game to please arrive early! Sharkfest starts at 5pm.

Before the game, make your own signs at SHARKFEST! Thanks to our Partner the ArtSpot. They provide the poster and art supplies, YOU make the sign. It’s your opportunity to show off your sign on the YouTube broadcast as well as our FANCAMS during the game. Get your sign autographed by the attack dancers and players after the game.

DARLEY'S PLUMBING DEUCE

Everytime the Jacksonville Sharks kick the ball through the uprights on a kickoff, fans will experience the Darleys' Deuce. The "deuce" is a special teams play that allows the kicking team the opportunity to score two points directly from kickoff, if the kicker can nail the 50-yard kick. However those game footballs have to be exchanged back to a Sharks Representative, in exchange we will give you  a Sharks souvenir football.


PICTURE SPOT

Take a selfie at the Shark game day picture spot behind section 100. Every home game in 2022 the Sharks will have a theme appropriate photo opportunity for you to take advantage of.  


FAN CAMs

Shark fans be on the lookout on the jumbotron as we have various FANCAMs throughout the game. Show us your moves with the dance cam. We have the Trinity Fitness Flex cam to show off those muscles and the Tsunami wave!


CGC Water ‘A Drop in a Bucket Challenge’

CGC water is the official water for YOUR Jacksonville Sharks. Two lucky fans will compete against each in a battle to throw the most water droplets into the bucket in 30 seconds. Donatos Pick Your Pizza Game!

National Anthem Performance provided by Duval County Supervisors of Elections

Each national anthem performance this season will be provided by the Duval County Supervisors of Elections who want you to  remember that July 25 is the last day to register to vote for the August 23 primary. Primary Election will run August 8th through August 21st.  Visit duvalelections.gov for dates, times and locations.


Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Flag Delivery

In honor of Military Appreciation Night, the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association and Attack Dance Team will ride out on the turf before the game for a special United States of America Flag presentation.


First Florida Chapter of the MVPA Game Ball Delivery

During SharkFest the First Florida Chapter of the MVPA will be handing out keepsakes at SharkFest and will be Saturday’s Game Ball Delivery partner.

Enjoy a performance by our Attack Dance Team then test your throwing accuracy with Fling-a-Football, get close to the middle of the target and win some Sharks bucks! The Sharks are honored to have all the military current and retired to the game and will honor by the playing of the Armed Forces Medley. During this time, we will ask each member of the following branch to rise up with the member of the color guard stepping up in salute. But  it's not over yet- Chum will be racing around the turf brought to you by Autobahn Speedway!

How good is your aim? Our halftime Fling-A-Football promotion gives you a chance to win $100 in Shark Bucks. At just $1 per throw (or 6 for $5), you might as well give it a shot!
