Week 15 Preview

Jacksonville, FL – The Sharks (8-2) will take on the Predators (4-6) for the second half of their back-to-back against in-state rivals at home this Saturday.  After a win in Orlando last weekend, the Sharks have moved into first place over the San Antonio Gunslingers.

On July 8th, the two faced off at the Amway Center for the second match up of the season. Jacksonville won in commanding fashion, 67-44. Kamrin Solomon scored four touchdowns and had 133 receiving yards. Tamorrion Terry had three touchdowns, a pick six and 106 receiving yards. Jacksonville’s defense had four interceptions. One each from Terry, Sha-Ki Holiness, Erick McIntosh and David Gilbert. Jermiah Price, Tre Harlan, Anthony Johnson and Gilbert all had sacks to add to the defense’s domination.  

Terry was named the National Arena League’s Ironman Player of the Week for his outstanding performance on both sides of the ball. 

Darius Prince had four touchdowns and 122 yards on kickoff returns for Orlando last week. 

The two teams first met on April 30th at Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena when the Sharks lost 61-60 in a nail biter to give Orlando its first win of the season. Jenson Stoshak scored five touchdowns for the Sharks, over half of the team’s points. He also had a fumble recovery for the defense. 

This will be the third and final game of the regular season between Jacksonville and Orlando.
