Three Rookies heading to Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, FL- The Jacksonville Sharks signed three rookies for the upcoming 2024 season: linebacker Jordan Cole, strong safety Exree Loe, along with wide receiver Charles Gaines. All three players are coming into this season looking to make an impact as the Sharks enter the IFL hoping to make another championship run. 

Jordan Cole enters his first season in IFL from Southeast Missouri State University where he finished his collegiate career with 85 tackles, one sack, and two forced fumbles. Cole was also named the Class 3A Defensive Player of the Year by the Missouri Football Coaches Association at McCluer South Berkeley High School. 

Exree Loe the four-year West Virginia Mountaineer tallied an impressive 185 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries during his time in Morgantown. Loe played his high school ball at the Greater Township Area where he was named a two-time Pennsylvania Football News All-State First-Team Defensive Back. 

Last but not least, wide receiver Charles Gaines comes to Jacksonville out of Thomas More University. Gaines appeared in 17 games bringing in 70 receptions for 961 yards to go along with 10 touchdowns. The Kentucky native graduated from Lloyd Memorial High School where he was an All-State selection.
