SHARKS ROUNDING OUT 2023 TRAINING CAMP ROSTER

JACKSONVILLE, FL - The Sharks round out their 2023 training camp roster with the signings of Alex Anderson and Marquez Johnson.


Alex Anderson (6’5, 310) comes to Jacksonville after spending 2022 with the San Antonio Gunslingers during their inaugural season in the NAL. He also spent time with the Wyoming Mustangs of the Champions Indoor Football League. 


Prior to joining arena football, Anderson played both offensive and defensive tackle for Texas College Steers. His older brother Ryan Anderson most recently played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Washington Commanders.


Marquez Johnson (6’0, 187) comes to the Sharks for his rookie season. Johnson previously played football and ran track at Oklahoma Panhandle State University. In 2021, he was named NAIA Defensive Player of the Week after recording two “pick-6” touchdowns in a single game against Ottawa-University Arizona.
