SHARK ADD TWO NEW PARTNERS

JACKSONVILLE, FL- The Jacksonville Sharks are excited to announce the addition of two new partners to the team’s ownership group.  The 4-time Champion Sharks enter their 14th season and look to continue their winning ways.  Tripp Amos and Ramsey Potts will become owners as the Sharks head into their inaugural Indoor Football League (IFL) season.  

Amos currently serves as a Consultant to Aflac’s U.S. executive team.  Prior to this, he had a 25-year career with Aflac, serving in various Sales and Leadership positions.  Amos also served as Chairman and CEO of Piedmont Payment Services.  Under his leadership, Piedmont experienced accelerated growth and was named by Inc. magazine as one of the fastest-growing private companies in America in 2018, 2019, and 2020. He has always had a love for all kinds of football and was a part owner in the Columbus Wardogs af2 arena football team.

“Being able to have such accomplished businessmen as Tripp and Ramsey join our ownership group is very exciting,”  Sharks President Steve Curran said. “With their knowledge and experience we look forward to working with them to continue to build the Sharks brand and reach.”

Potts is a Pennsylvania native and graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, he enjoyed a 25 year career at Aflac where he wore the hats of sales, leadership, and training before transitioning to new challenges as a Car Specialist with global auction house RM Sotheby’s. In the fall of 2021, Potts became a founding partner in new auction house Broad Arrow Group, where he served as Chief Sales Officer. Following the acquisition of Broad Arrow Group by Hagerty, Potts currently holds the role of Partner and V.P. of Digital Sales for Hagerty Marketplace.
