Jacksonville Sharks Reveal 2021 Theme Nights

Four Fun Action Packed Themes Mark the Return of Family Affordable Fun!

JACKSONVILLE –  The 2019 National Arena League champion Jacksonville Sharks have unveiled their 2021 theme & appreciation nights for the upcoming season. After a long wait for Jacksonville Sharks football, the team has introduced a variety of creative themes and brought back some classics to keep the Shark tank filled with entertainment all season long for the best fans in arena football. In addition, the team will incorporate a number of appreciation nights to celebrate local heroes in our community including military service men & women and outstanding academic professionals in Jacksonville. All games will kick off on Saturdays at 7 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Arena.

JUNE 12TH - Country Night & Education Appreciation Night
Presented By: IDEA Public Schools                                                                                      
For the Sharks first home game of the season the team decided to rev’ up the arena and dust off their boots for the home opener, Country Night. A long-time favorite amongst many in Shark Nation, fans can enjoy their favorite country hits in the arena while watching some BIG HITS on the field as the Sharks face the Carolina Cobras in a NAL Championship rematch. Rep your favorite cowboy hat or rock your best daisy dukes while the Sharks look to put a good ol’ fashion whoopin’ on the Cobras. The Jacksonville Sharks will also reserve this night to honor all educators, school employees, and principals throughout Northeast Florida by celebrating Education Appreciation Night presented by IDEA Public Schools. All Duval, St. Johns, Clay, and Nassau County faculty and staff will receive a buy one get one free ticket offer. The Sharks will also honor multiple Florida Teachers of the Year honorees as well as some education appreciation heroes in our community. The Sharks have brought back the Boy Scouts for this night as well, any boy scout troops interested can purchase tickets to the game, access to the post-game on-field autograph session followed by a sleepover movie night on the Sharks field. JUNE 26TH - Halloween in June
Presented By: Clay Eye Physicians & Surgeons                                                                                                 Halloween in June presented by Clay Eye Physicians & Surgeons is set for Saturday, June 26th as the Sharks look to become the Albany Empire’s WORST NIGHTMARE… Watch the Sharks haunt former Quarterback Tom Grady for four frightful quarters.  Dress up in your scariest costumes to help send him back to New York with a ghostly loss. Our friends at the 13th Floor Entertainment are always looking to ‘trick R treat’ with you whether you see them or NOT. Enjoy monster movie moments and classic spooky scenes from the best Halloween horror movies new & old. Not into the frightful sights? The Sharks will establish multiple scare free zones throughout the arena and boys and ghouls can always count on a haunted hit list of Halloween tunes to dance too all night long! JULY 17TH - Shark-A-Rita-Ville

Shark Fans, slip on your Flip Flops, Zinc up your nose & show off your summertime tan because Shark-A-Ritaville is back presented by Baptist Health & Jacksonville Orthopedic Institute. The Sharks reeled in a big Shark theme they haven’t seen since 2014! If you're feeling hungry this night, we got cheeseburgers in paradise right here in the Shark Tank as the team will be cruising through the regular season but not without at least one quick stop in Margaritaville before we head towards the regular season finale. It’s 5’oclock somewhere for many, but remember season ticket holders' doors open early for you at 5:30pm. For all fans this tropical theme night will be on island time all night long so kick back enjoy some Beach themed tunes and catch a great NAL rivalry game between the Jacksonville Sharks and Columbus Lions. JULY 24TH - Military Appreciation Night

We saved this great theme night for the regular season home finale to salute all the brave men & women that have served & continue to serve in our nation's armed forces with the Sharks Military Appreciation Night presented by Navy Federal Credit Union. Stand with us as we honor hometown heros from all branches of service on this night and welcome in the local recruits as the Sharks will host a “Oath of Enlistment'' provided by the Florida Army National Guard right on the field at halftime. We’ll have plenty of football action in-store as the Sharks will go head to head with their oldest rival the Orlando Predators as we look to be a MAJOR PAIN on the Predators playoff hopes. All active and military veterans, as well as their families, will receive a special buy one get one free ticket offer. The Jacksonville Sharks will also wear a custom Military-Themed game jersey that will be auctioned off at the end of the game during the on-field autograph session.
