Jacksonville Sharks Announce Open Player Tryout

Sharks Local Open Tryout Set for December 18th

JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Sharks, have announced that they will be hosting an open tryout on Saturday December 18, 2021.  The single day open player tryout will be at Episcopal School of Jacksonville, FL. and give athletes that attend the opportunity to showcase their abilities in front of Sharks coaches and a chance to receive an invitation to the official Sharks 2022 training camp. With the Sharks 2022 season fast approaching this will mark Coach Siaha Burley’s return to the NAL and The Jacksonville Sharks. In Coach Burley’s previous tenure, he led the Sharks to NAL Championships in 2017 and 2019. In his return he is looking to create another championship roster for the upcoming season. Eligible athletes must be 18 years old or older, must fully complete their online registration, team waiver, and upload a valid driver's license. Following the tryout Coach Burley will contact players of interest to attend the Jacksonville Sharks 2022 training camp this spring. 

Interested athletes can visit www.jaxsharks.com/tryouts where they can fill out the online registration and submit their online payment. All athletes must submit their waiver online & complete their online payment before stepping on the field to participate in the tryout on December 18th. Tryouts will begin at 8:30am for athlete check-in, each player will receive a Sharks logo t-shirt. Each athlete will have time to warm up & stretch on the field once they complete the check-in process. Starting at 9am the potential Jacksonville Sharks candidates will begin the workout with a range of drills to measure their athletic ability, including the 40-yard dash and shuttle run. In addition, there will be position specific drills for players to showcase their skills to the Sharks coaching staff.
