Jacksonville Sharks Add Ironman Cody Savage to Roster

Receiver/Defensive Back/Jack Linebacker Seeks Sharks for 2022

JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Sharks sign WR/JLB/DB Cody Savage, this is his rookie season of arena football. Savage (6’4, 227) finished his college career at Emporia State University a Division II school in Emporia, KS. where he played defensive back for the Hornets.  He played in 21 games during his two seasons at ESU and recorded 32 tackles, two interceptions, and one forced fumble. 


Savage spent his junior year at Kansas State. Cody was a JUCO transfer that started his college career at Hutchinson Community College where he helped Hutchinson CC. to a 16-7 overall record in two seasons as a wide receiver. 


Cody Savage is a native of Canton, KS. He was a three sport athlete in high school playing football, basketball, and track & field. He was the starting quarterback of Canton-Galva High leading his team to a 9-3 record. Prior to graduating he was an All-State Honorable Mention in football.
