Jacksonville Adds All-NAL Receiver Paris Mack

Rookie of the Year Signs with Sharks

JACKSONVILLE – The 2019 National Arena League Champion Jacksonville Sharks have announced today the signing of Wide Receiver Paris Mack, this is Mack’s second season in the National Arena League and first season with the Sharks.

Mack (5’11, 186) played his rookie season with the Columbus Lions where he was an impactful playmaker on offense becoming one of the top receivers for the Lions recording 50 catches for 871 yards and 14 touchdowns in the regular season. Mack had the Lions longest reception (43) in 2019 and was named the team’s Rookie of the Year. The star receiver led the NAL in average yards per catch (17.4) and average receiving yards per game (87.1) while earning Second Team All-NAL Honors.

Mack spent his college career with the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff where he was a two sport athlete in both Football and Track & Field. During his football career as a Golden Lion he caught 17 passes for 309 yards and scored two touchdowns while also returning 23 kicks for 508 yards on special teams during his senior season. Overall Mack played in over 22 games for UAPB totaling 24 receptions, 375 yards, and two touchdowns during his college career.

Mack is a native of Pine Bluff, AR and played for Pine Bluff High School where he helped the Zebras to a double overtime state championship victory his senior year.
