Alabama Lineman Dominic Jackson Signs with Sharks

JACKSONVILLE, FL- The Jacksonville Sharks announce the signing of offensive / defensive lineman Dominic Jackson who enters his second year of professional football and first season with the Jacksonville Sharks.

Dominic Jackson (6’3, 326) spent last season between the NAL and the American Football League in Mexico. Jackson played in two games for the Sharks at the tail end of the season totaling four tackles including three against the Albany Empire. Prior to the Jacksonville Sharks Dominic Jackson played for the Cancun Tiburones (Sharks) in Mexico. During his time with the Tiburones he started on the offensive line.


Jackson played for the Alabama Crimson Tide (2014-15) during his college career where he played offensive line for Nick Saban. Jackson was a member of the 2015 FBS National Championship team who were ranked #1 in the nation with a 14-1 record. Alabama advanced to play in the FBS National Championship where they defeated the Clemson Tigers. Prior to Alabama, Jackson transferred from College of San Mateo where he played two seasons for the bulldogs. Dominic Jackson is from Cupertino, California he played varsity football for Homestead High School.
